I am an adult who loves to read. I read just about anything although fantasy, paranormal, and crime novels tend to top my lists. I am also a huge Star Trek fan and currently have 334 books from across all of the various series. I recently bought a Kindle Kindle Fire and am in the process of stocking it up with books to read.
In addition to reading, I enjoy cooking. Or rather, I enjoy collecting recipes. I have a tendency to experiment when I cook so my family never knows what they are going to taste. And for some reason I never make something the same way twice.
My newest hobby is photography. I enjoy taking pictures although they are not always very good. I do better taking pictures of my Sims then I do taking them of my family.
We are DVD collectors. That sounds so much better than DVD hoarders. Current count is closing in on 700. We, once again, have to catalog the collection as the last database was lost during a hard-drive reformat.
I list writing as a hobby but I don’t actually do any writing. I collect story ideas though which I then try to play out in The Sims. I do have a pretty large collection of blogs for my various interests so maybe I will do more writing in the future.
Star Trek gets listed as a hobby as, in addition to the books mentioned above, I also have every movie on DVD and the complete DVD set for all of the TV series.
