About Me
I have been playing Sims since August 2005, a member of Boolprop.com since October 2006, and a moderator there since July 2007. I have been married since September 21, 1985 and I have a daughter and a son, both in college now. I also have 3 cats and a dog. My kids are not into Sims – Rebekah is into anything Korean and Jacob is into gaming either on his xBox360 or on his computer. My sister is the one that hooked me on Sims. She had all of the original Sims games and one week while I was on vacation I took her games and started playing. That was the beginning of my obsession. I played Sims 1 for about 2-3 weeks and then decided to buy Sims 2, and have now moved on to Sims 3.
In September 2007 I “retired” from working to work for our family business until we closed it down the end of 2010. I now part-time for my previous company which I am enjoying.
I have always had trouble making it past 3-4 generations in a legacy, however I managed to complete a legacy in Sims 2 and Sims 3, along with an alphabet legacy in Sims 2. I have completed several of challenges, but am always looking for more to try. I do tend to start challenges and then give up on them, but I keep on trying. Outside of Sims I also play Lord of the Rings Online on the Brandywine server. I have quite a few characters so if you play, look me up – Marilot, Gwenifer, Ashreth, Loraiel, Tamilia, Hanarae, Valkaree, Shaelyne, Jillisa, and Kaite. When not gaming I enjoy blogging (reading them mostly and writing some), reading science fiction, watching and collecting DVDs (I currently have over 650), and spending time with family and friends.
