Hey There, Boo Bear (Chapter 8)

With Oskar busy building bots, Emilie spends her time fishing and painting and hanging out in the community center.  She is making great progress on catching her perfect fish, up to nine varieties now.

Screenshot-9

Oskar spends his days building, upgrading, and selling bots.  He is very close to reaching the top level of the career and he thinks it would be a good idea to take a couple of bots home. He also still needs to finishing designing the nanites and trait chips.

Elita is an Awesome (level 6) green floating bot and S.I.M. is a regular Next Gen (level 9) blue bot.  Both will achieve both future tech and sentience back in the present time and then Oskar will return them to the future to sell them.

Screenshot

Things That Go Bump In The Night is the name of the book that ghosty Wade is reading when the gang returns from the future.

Screenshot-2

Oskar spends his next few hours tuning up both S.I.M. and Elita until one reaches future tech quality.  At this point he adjusts S.I.M.’s trait chips to include Simulated Emotions, Steel Chef, Solar Powered, Capacity to Love, Limitless Learning, Sense of Humor, and Sentience.  With one down, Oskar turns his attention to Elita, who had a longer way to go.  S.I.M. is apparently female also.  Not only does Oskar complete his lifetime wish, he also becomes a Pioneer of Plumbotics and is rewarded with a legacy statue in the future.  Once Elita is upgraded to future tech, she is given the traits chips for Sentience, Competent Cleaner, Friendly Functions, HandiBot, Mood Adjuster, RoboNanny, and Steel Chef.

Screenshot-4

And the Time Traveler is a ghost also? Emit Relevart.  Hmm.  Although that would make sense as he first appeared when Wade and Molly moved into the house. Or, is he a hologram congratulating Oskar on having a legacy statue in his honor.

Screenshot-10

With these requirements completed, Oskar makes a quick trip back to the future in order to sell the bots and reach the top of the bot building career.  It would have been nice to keep the bots, but the house will be too full already.

Screenshot-13

With Oskar working on his second career and having completed his requirements, the focus is on Emilie.  She will need to catch the remaining perfect fish, master painting skill and career, and pop out three pregnancies.

Hey There, Boo Bear (Chapter 7)

The polls have spoken and Oskar is the chosen heir.  Bill will continue to work on learning all of the recipes; Fleur will begin making friends; Odo will learn handiness and logic; and Missy will begin writing.  Emilie will need to master three separate skills, but as she will also be making the next generation, she has plenty of time.  Oskar is heading to the future to open up bot building and begin learning just how to give one sentience.  I am not sure it was obvious from the poll picture, but in addition to get Oskar’s pink skin and hair, we are also getting Emilie’s green hair.  This next generation is going to be colorfully interesting.  Back to the founders, Wade is at level 8 in Culinary and Molly is at level 3 in Professional Sports.  Frustrated for some reason Oskar?

Screenshot

Apparently, traveling to the future requires an adult.  So Wade agrees to show Oskar the future.  Oskar is wanting to figure out how to build bots so off they go.  Into the Future.

Screenshot-2

Oskar spends his first few days designing nanites (yep another list)

  • Neutron
  • Caustic
  • Quantum
  • Scalar
  • Lite
  • Lepton
  • Tribble
  • Heisenberg
  • Condensor
  • Tunnelling
  • Torque
  • Induction
  • Polar

The remaining nanites must be caught and reverse engineered.  Should have brought the collection helper…

  • Thermo **
  • Dispersion **
  • Entropic
  • Optic
  • Damping
  • Prismatic **
  • Uber **

Screenshot-3

Then he begins working on designing trait chips:

  • Competent Cleaner
  • HandiBot
  • A.I. Angler
  • Steel Chef
  • Fear of Humans
  • RoboNanny
  • Friendly Functions
  • Sinister Circuits
  • Sense of Humor
  • Office Drone
  • Musical Machine
  • Mood Adjuster

Reaching level 6, it is time to return home for now.  Oskar will return to the future soon enough.  The trait chips he still has to design once he reaches a higher level in the skill include:

  • Solar Powered
  • Capacity to Love
  • RoBotany Gardener
  • Limitless Learning
  • Simulated Emotions
  • Algorithmic Artist
  • Holo projector
  • Efficient
  • Sentience

Screenshot-4

NoOoOoOo!!!!! {insert hissy fit here}

Screenshot-6

I am not sure what I will do about this.  At least he wasn’t the chosen heir >.<

Screenshot-8

Fleur works on her friends, and starts off the majority of the relationships with a little boost from a friendship potion.  She then throws a party to cement those relationships and hopefully pick up a few more.  At the party, Wade enjoys dancing with Eileen Glacier while Molly dances with Stanley Wisteria.  Once Wade heads off to work, everyone heads to bed as sleeping tends to encourage everyone to leave the party earlier without affecting the party rating. ;)

Once the party guests are gone, Fleur has a solid 17 friends and only needs 3 more.  She will work on a few more potions and then she will be ready to move out once Bill decides he wants to be a Culinary Librarian.  As he is at level 8 in Cooking, it won’t take them very long to finish up and move out.  No one has received an opportunity yet to resurrect Odo and they only have up until Missy completes her lifetime wish of making $4,000 per week in royalties, which she also still needs to choose.

Screenshot-5

Wade reaches the top of Culinary and brings home the special fridge.  No more spoiled food.  He quickly learns enough alchemy to register as an Alchemist and will see if he can possibly get to the top of that career before he dies.

Screenshot

Odo is actually enjoying his ghostliness as he doesn’t have to study and can just play all night.

Screenshot-11

Fleur makes her last friend and is just waiting on Bill to make up his mind on what he wants to do with his life, and of course, to become a young adult.  They will be moving out as quickly as possible.

Screenshot-3

That just leaves Missy to become a professional writer in 7 days. Yep, surely she can do that and go to school full time. :)

Screenshot-4

The years of the teens is drawing to a close.  Bill and Fleur become adults and make their lifetime choices.  Screenshot-2

Due to indifferent study habits Fleur becomes an animal lover, which is alright with me as she has already completed her lifetime wish.

Screenshot

Bill rolls bookworm and then choose to become a Culinary Librarian, which he immediately completes.  This allows the couple to get married and move out to live their life in the story progression stream.  And of course, proposing to your girlfriend in the front foyer while in your underwear in front of your younger brother is always the best way to go.

Screenshot-2

The kids were born back to back so the next birthday up, birthday(s), belong to Oskar and Emilie.  Oskar “rolls” Bot Fan (sorry I had to give that one to him) and chooses More Than a Machine as instructed.  Emilie rolls Born Saleswoman which will help her out with her career as a Painter.  Her time fishing, however, has triggered her to roll a lifetime wish to present a perfect private aquarium.  Oh joy (yes I allowed it but still, it is better than mastering three skills).  She and Oskar tie the knot and then slip into the future for their honeymoon.

Screenshot-6

As they were getting married, across town, Fleur was giving birth to a boy named Jeffery.  Interesting spelling there.  Molly and Wade are both wishing for a lot of grandchildren now.  Bill and Fleur bring Jeffery with them to graduation where Oskar is voted Most Likely to Burn the House Down and Emilie is voted Most Likely to Never Leave the House.  Hmm…

Screenshot-6

Umm, oops.  Well, the family now consists of a jelly bean ghost and an electrocution ghost.  Maybe they will both come back at some point.

Screenshot-2

This leaves Missy to become a young adult.  She has written enough novels where she is making a little over $4,000 per week and just needs to roll the lifetime wish and grow up and she is moving out.  Unfortunately, she will be going alone since no one in the family has ever received the opportunity to bring Odo back.  With this realization, she gets her birthday cake two days early and decides she loves dogs, a lot.  She then heads out on her own to see what story progression can do with her.

Screenshot-6

The list of family lifetime wishes  for the founder and generation one:

  1. Seasoned Traveler (visa levels) **Molly** Completed
  2. High Tech Collector (advanced technology and toys) **Wade** Completed
  3. More Than a Machine (bot building and sentience) **Oskar**
  4. Presenting the Perfect Private Aquarium (fishing) **Emilie**
  5. Tinkerer (logic and handiness) **Odo** Died as a Teen from Electrocution
  6. Professional Author (writing) **Missy** Completed
  7. Culinary Librarian (cooking) **Bill** Completed
  8. Super Popular (friends) **Fleur** Completed

Oskar will be tasked with obtaining the Pioneer of Plumbotics legacy statue.  This works well with his lifetime wish of More Than a Machine.  He will, however, need to bring a plumbot home to the present to complete it.  And for the record, when the guides say it takes longer to level bot building in the present timeline, they are not kidding.  Oskar has been studying from the book since he came home from the future the first time and he is almost to level 10.  That is 14 days of teen and 5 days as a young adult.  With Missy out of the house, it is time for the family to spend some quality time in the future.  Oskar and Emilie plan on spending 14 days collecting and building and fishing and painting.  Then, hopefully, when they come back to the present time, it will be time for make some babies.  Molly will stay home and just be a fairy.

Screenshot-2

Emilie really enjoys her alone time, and can often be found fishing in the dead of winter.  I really wish her hair matched or at least complimented her eyes though.  And her slobby ways are growing on me, although she has a backpack full of personality potions, which she has not used yet.  She is looking for 13 perfect fish and currently has four.

  1. Minnow
  2. Jellyfish
  3. Sea Bat Starfish
  4. Anchovy

Screenshot-2

Careers Maxed (Workaholic requires 10)

  1. Culinary (Wade)
  2. Alchemist (Wade)
  3. Professional Sports (Molly ~ level 5)
  4. Bot Building (Oskar ~ level 1)
  5. Painter (Emilie ~ level 5)

Good Golly, Miss Molly (Chapter 6)

With Bill now a teen, he decides it is time to use the special potion Molly made and bring his imaginary friend to life.  Fleur is happy to try the potion and joins the family as Bill’s girlfriend.  This is a quiet time in their lives, as quiet as can be with three boys in the family.  They go to work and school, study this skill or that, play and dance and just enjoy the togetherness of the family.  Bill and Fleur both join the Drama Club to give them an after school activity.

During this quiet time, the town was afflicted by a strange disease which caused weird mutations in some and black skin in others.  Eventually, the disease was beaten and the town returned to a sort of normal.  Molly and Wade were not infected, thankfully, but had to consider if they should move to another place, just in case.  Before they could decide, the disease was brought under control and they decided to stay in Roaring Heights.

Screenshot-4

Looking at the requirements, and apparently every spare needs to complete their lifetime wish also.  So a quick list of non-career lifetime wishes that can possible be completed prior to young adult or fairly quickly thereafter. With this list in hand, everyone has received their assignments and sets off to take classes and read books and play chess and fish.

  1. Seasoned Traveler (visa levels) **Molly**
  2. High Tech Collector (advanced technology and toys) **Wade**
  3. More Than a Machine (bot building and sentience) **Gen 1 heir**
  4. Renaissance Sim (three skills) **Gen 1 spouse**
  5. Tinkerer (logic and handiness) **Gen 1 spare**
  6. Culinary Librarian (cooking) **Bill**
  7. Super Popular (friends) **Fleur**
  8. Made the Most of my Time (alternate futures and legacy statue) **Gen 2 heir**
  9. Martial Arts Master (martial arts) or Physical Perfection (athletics and martial arts) **Gen 2 spouse**
  10. Master of the Arts (painting and guitar) **Gen 2 spare**
  11. Perfect Mind, Perfect Body (logic and athletics) **Gen 2 spare**
  12. Living in the Lap of Luxury (household worth) **Gen 3**
  13. Private Museum (relic collection) **Gen 3**
  14. Swimming in Cash (household funds) **Gen 3**

Screenshot-5

Oskar grows up and everyone realizes he is a genius.  But is he genius enough to become heir?  He offers to make Emilie real and she quickly agrees, drinking the potion he gives her.

While the teens went to the prom, Odo spent the evening playing chess with his imaginary friend until it was time for his birthday.  He quickly offered the make Missy real and then asked her to go steady.  This made Oskar realize that he needed to ask Emilie to be his girl friend before someone else did.  Also, apparently Odo hasn’t been studying and he was assigned the adventurous trait.

And it is time for the heir poll, which will be posted on Boolprop [Vote Here].  Stop by and vote for either Oskar or Odo.  Bill is not eligible, for which I am very thankful.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Heirs potential information is listed below.  Additional notes are the heir will be tasked with More Than a Machine while the spare will become a Tinkerer.  The heir’s spouse will be a Renaissance Sim and the spare’s spouse will continue fishing.  Both of the spare’s souses will be be contributing to Presenting the Perfect Private Aquarium.  Nothing says the lifetime wishes have to be unique. ;)

Good Golly, Miss Molly (Chapter 5)

Molly still needs to complete her relic collections so she packs up and heads to Egypt.  She quickly finds the last piece she needs from the Gold Figurines collection bringing her total up to four.  She only needs one item from the Zodiac Animals and two from the Dangerous Creatures collection.  Once she obtains the last of of the Egyptian relics, she heads home.  She will need one final trip to China for the last two relics.

Screenshot-5

Molly has been thinking about getting a job but with two toddlers and an infant in the house, she decides to wait until Odo starts school.  In the meantime, she finishes sorting inventorying her collection and  finds some curious potions.

Screenshot

And, of course, potions are meant to be used… and Molly becomes the Queen of the Fae.

Screenshot-3

She decides to make her trip to China and get that out of the way so she can concentrate of other things.  Like maybe her family and a career or two.  It is nice when the right item shows up early.  The Dangerous Creatures collection is completed leaving only the final piece in the Zodiac Animals collection.  And success, finally!  With her sixth collection complete, Molly returns home and empties her bags.  She is done traveling.

Screenshot-4

The final collection consists of Chinese Vases, Dangerous Creatures, Gold Figurines, Dropa Stones, Zodiac Animals, and Canopic Jars.  Her plumbob gems include diamond, alabaster, quartz, pink diamond, citrine, turquoise, rainbow gem, and lapis lazuli.

Our first birthday comes with Bill growing into a child.  He adds no sense of humor to his traits.  An absent minded slob with no sense of humor.  It is probably a good thing he isn’t pink.

Screenshot

Following Bill’s birthday, Odo becomes a toddler and immediately begins his training.

Screenshot-3

While I had not considered the Imaginary Friends challenge at first, I have decided to add that to the list.  All three boys have received their special dolls and renamed them to insure that they are female.  As the challenge requires that every child marries their doll, Molly begins studying chemistry so that she may learn the special potion they will require.  Generally I find imaginary friends a pain in the a… neck, for this challenge I will attempt to not destroy the dolls.

Screenshot-4

You gotta love what I call the potty glitch.  You can see how their pink compares at least.  Oskar has a little more purple.

Screenshot-5

Molly will probably never win Mother of the Year.  Seriously, she doesn’t Hate Children but she has zero instincts when it comes to the boys.

Screenshot-8

Bill doesn’t even bother coming home from school until curfew.

Screenshot-9

I sure hope this is Oskar growing up… and he rolls clumsy.  This is still way better than Bill’s traits.  Way better…

Screenshot-10

Wade gets a little older and changes his hair style.  Molly is not sure about what he has done.  Or maybe she just realized that she will outlive him by four lifetimes.

Screenshot-11

Molly eventually figures out how to create the Imaginary Friend Metamorphium and makes enough for all three boys.

Screenshot-12

She spends a little time with Odo, reconnecting and remembering how to be a mom.

Odo had a fairly rough toddler time.  He was left in his crib for hours on end and even considered running away, if only he could figure out how to go down the stairs.  Really, no idea where he was going, as his queue said potty, which was inside the house.

With the boys all in school, it is time for Molly to get a real job.  If you can call professional sports a real job.  She runs down to the stadium and is hired to be a rabid fan.  Yeah.  With Workaholic one of the mini challenges, everyone really needs to be reaching the top of their careers.  Wade, I am looking at you.

Screenshot-20

Wade has not done a good job of getting promotions and decides to throw a party to work on his relationships with co-workers.  He also invites his alien buddy, Voohon Xip.  While Molly and Voohon hit it off and dance together, Eileen Glacier makes things awkward by hitting on Wade.

Screenshot-22

As the party is winding down, it is time for some birthdays.  Odo goes first, making the house toddler free.  He is a clumsy, friendly, night owl.  Still much better than brother Bill.

Screenshot-24

Speaking of brother Bill, there is now a teenager in the house.  Bill adds natural born performer to his list.

Screenshot-25

With all of the kids in school and Molly getting a job, the family is ready to start a new chapter.  Hopefully the last one before the heir is chosen and takes over.

No words, I just got nothing.  And now I get to go on a hunt to find this damn piece of custom content.
